The Bronte Society
The Bronte Society is an internationally supported organisation which owns and operates the parsonage museum in Haworth, and which in December 2013 celebrated its 120th anniversary.
The society was originally founded at a meeting which took place in 1893, and was initially run from premises on Haworth's main street.
In 1928 Sir James Roberts presented the parsonage building to the society, and this has been used as the parsonage museum and main base of the society ever since.
