Wardley House

Tower block

Wardley House is a 1960s tower block adjacent to and adjoining the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford

Named after Councillor Wardley (who oversaw much of the city's redevelopment in the 1960s) and originally dedicated to office space much of the building has been converted to provide student accommodation with cafes and bars at street level. The building also includes the "Silver Blades" ice rink (which was an original feature dating from the 1960s).
