The Leeds Arcades
The city of Leeds is famous for its arcades - indoor and "roofed over" streets which contain shops, cafes and restaurants.
These include the Grand Arcade, the Central Arcade, Thornton's Arcade, Queen's Arcade and the Victoria Quarter. There is also the Trinity Shopping Centre and Victoria Gate which (although both being recent developments) are organised around covered streets in the fashion of the "traditional" arcades.
