Lothersdale

Lothersdale lies near the northern boundary of the Bronte Country area. The Pennine Way passes through, before crossing the Aire Gap and on northwards to the Yorkshire Dales.

Bronte related locations in the area include Stone Gappe, believed to be the inspiration for Gateshead Hall in Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre".
