Thornton is a village on the outskirts of Bradford which is best known as being the birthplace of the Brontes.

Situated on the route of the Bronte Way long distance footpath, Thornton is within easy reach of Bradford city centre and Haworth as well as other sites of particular interest to Bronte enthusiasts.
